Avipro Plus is a combination of bacteria, enzymes, electrolytes and vitamins. It is a powder which is added to the drinking water, and its high palatability means it is simple to use for all species. It contains:
* Lactobacillus with Streptococcus faecium which live for a short time in the gut, helping to stabilise the pH
* yeasts to provide a source of amino acids and vitamins
* lipase, amylase and cellulase
* electrolytes to aid in maintaining adequate levels. It is particularly useful for all species which are undergoing antibiotic treatment, during which the normal gut flora may be seriously unbalanced by the treatment leading to the establishment of inappropriate bacteria, many of which can form toxins. For general use as a routing nutritional aid use 1 scoop (4gm) per 200ml drinking water. It may also be used for support of stressed animals, at a dilution of 4gm (1 scoop) per 100ml drinking water.
