This product was developed by the vet at Vetark Professional for use in exotics such as birds, reptiles and rabbits. Vets and breeders soon started using it as an easy high quality nourishment for collapsed elderly animals and for immature animals which may have been pushed out and need picking up before they can cope with mum and siblings again.

CCF is a powder to which you simply add water to provide a high energy and protein short term food. It is a mixture of malto-dextrin and a protein concentrate supplemented with amino acids to match the profile of egg. It is a critical care food which can be used for all species, and is sufficiently fluid to flow through a nasogastric or crop tube
